Dagashi Kashi 2nd Season (だがしかし2) is the upcoming sequel and second adaptation of the Dagashi Kashi series. It will premiere on the TBS Channel this 2018.

This series will be directed by Satoshi Kuwahara, replacing director Shigehito Takayanagi. Due of this, Tezuka Productions will handle the production of the anime and Studio feel. is now credited for setting cooperation.[1]

DevelopmentEdit

News of the sequel was initially teased on the 36th issue of the Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine that on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, Kotoyama's Dagashi Kashi manga will have an "important announcement" in the magazine's 37th and 38th issue. It will also feature a color spread page of the announcement while the eighth volume releases this August 10, 2017.[2]

CastEdit

Mayumi Morita will replace Takayanagi and Yasuko Kamo in the series' composition. Nana Miura is also taking over Kanetoshi Kamimoto's role for the character designs. Only Satoshi Motoyama returns as sound director of the series.[1]

The cast from Season 1 will reprise their roles respectively. Currently, no voice actor was announced for the new character, Hajime Owari.[3]
